Hansgrohe’s new ShowerTablet Select 700 convinces with its generous storage space in the shower. Thanks to this combination there is no need to invest in and install an additional shower shelf; there is plenty of room for shampoo bottles, soap and a razor on the 70 centimetre wide shelf. The surface of white glass and the thermostat’s timeless, architectural form enable it to blend elegantly into the bathroom environment and make it a highlight in the shower. The mixer and shower specialist from the Black Forest debuted this product at ISH in Frankfurt from 10 to 14 March 2015.
For the first time, the shower pipe of the ShowerTablet Select 700 can be hidden from view – the connection between the shower control and the overhead shower is concealed behind the wall. The ShowerTablet Select 700 fits flush with the wall and has a level shelf surface made of high-quality glass so it is easy to clean and completely conceals existing connections when used in a bathroom renovation project. The casing is not connected to the water supply so the temperature of the surface is always comfortable to the touch. The rounded edges provide additional safety. Hansgrohe developed the intelligent shower control with its longstanding partner Phoenix Design.

The innovative technology works on the basis of a new kind of Select-shut-off valve. It allows users to control the flow of water in overhead and hand showers by simply pressing a button. All controls have easy-to-read symbols and are conveniently positioned at the front of the unit.
This ease of use is also a welcome feature for children, the elderly and the physically impaired: an ergonomic handle and Select buttons that protrude and can be comfortably located by touch are valuable aids in everyday use. The thermostat is available as a single product for the bathtub or shower.
