To suite in with the Holiday Inn Express brand Director Harj Mattu had several guidelines to adhere to regarding the hotel interiors. However the seating for the bar area, boardroom and bedrooms were not restrictive.

Although Harj was impressed by the quality and style of the Boss Design range it was ultimately his passion for supporting a local British business that finalised his decision.

The boardroom, titled ‘The Curlers Room’, also doubled up as an area for people to have breakfast. It was important the interiors were as versatile as the room function. The Trafik table was specified with 5 rectangle tables and 2 semi-circle tables. Trafik features braked castors as standard allowing the tables to move and re-configure easily.

A two door credenza in Black American Walnut was chosen to resolve the issue of storage within the boardroom. The credenza was specified in Black American Walnut to suite in with the Trafik tables.

Starr chairs with arms were chosen to sit around the Trafik tables. Starr chairs can stack up to 32 high on a trolley with arms and provided the perfect solution to a room where space is limited. The Arran bar stool was specified for the bar area upholstered in the maroon of the Holiday Inn Express brand. The HIEX mesh back chair was specified as a desk chair for all the bedrooms. The chrome frame, arms and base of the chair further enhanced the sophistication of the bedrooms.

Harj Mattu, Director at the Holiday Inn Express, commented: "I researched many furniture manufacturers before deciding to go with Boss Design. Although the portfolio is of a very high standard this was not the sole factor in my decision making process. I believe in supporting local businesses and Boss Design is an excellent Midlands manufacturer. I am extremely pleased with the products and service received and will be consulting Boss Design in any future hotel ventures."
