Fletcher Priest beat five other practices to clinch the coveted title after evidencing the strongest body of work in the office category.
The company prides itself on developing long-lasting relationships with clients based on providing workplaces that support their businesses. Current clients include Land Securities, which has worked with the practice on more than 20 projects over 17 years and Derwent London.
Fletcher Priest is currently designing the Brunel Building on the Grand Union Canal, in Paddington, and has recently completed the rehabilitation of the 1980’s White Chapel Building as space for creative and media businesses. Both projects were commissioned by Derwent London.
One New Ludgate, for Land Securities, was named City Building of the Year in 2016 in recognition of its contribution to reanimating a neglected City block near St Paul’s Cathedral.
Fletcher Priest was announced as the winner at a glittering gala ceremony, at the London ExCel Platinum Suite, during the Ecobuild Conference in March.
Also shortlisted in this category were:
- Ben Adams Architects
- Delvendahl Martin
- Duggan Morris Architects
- Flanagan Lawrence
- Lynch Architects
