Guided by Isomi's philosophy of working with materials in their most authentic state with minimal intervention, contrasting textures were created that both honoured the raw, tactile qualities of concrete and created a smooth, practical work surface.

A mixture of cement, water and aggregate, concrete has been used for a range of structural purposes for many years. Varying the proportions of these components can influence strength, texture and weight, resulting in precise combinations for each usage type.

Concrete for furniture applications requires a high-performance mixture that is strong enough for continual use, without sacrificing aesthetic qualities.

Different production techniques are used in the creation of each texture to reduce surface treatments to an absolute minimum. Once each piece is released from the mould, it is sanded and sealed to create a non-porous, stain-resistant surface.

Bringing refinement to a material typically used in construction, Isomi's brutalist inspired concrete collection sits perfectly in a range of interior styles.
