The Aran collection, developed in collaboration with British textile designer and manufacturer Camira, features a lounge chair that champions sustainability. Aran is designed to achieve maximum comfort through minimal material.

Inspired by the rich knitting history of the Aran Islands, the lounge chair comprises only the most essential elements: an expertly knitted sleeve held in tension over a supporting timber frame. The chair celebrates the unique qualities of the knit material, using different knitted structures to form areas of varying tension and opacity, creating contrast and texture. Sustainability was at the forefront of the collection's design process, with the separate elements of the chair designed for easy disassembly for repair or recycling and made from a combination of renewable and recyclable materials.

Alongside Aran, Morgan introduced additions to the Bilbao collection: two new sofas and a lounge chair with a timber base. Bilbao was originally inspired by a desire to juxtapose soft, organic surfaces with crisp, sharp edges. The new lounge chair offers designers and specifiers a different aesthetic, combining sensuous upholstery and striking timber detail, while the sofas bring added flexibility to help meet spatial requirements.

During the week, Morgan hosted a private viewing of a new art installation called 'Verso' by British artist Corin Kennington and a lighting display by Bert Frank. An arm knitting workshop on Wednesday immersed guests in the tradition that inspired the Aran lounge chair.

Visitors had the opportunity to experience both the Aran and Bilbao collections at Morgan's London showroom, where they were able to witness first-hand their captivating blend of texture, comfort, and style.
