Re-pend is available without upholstery or with the option of a seat pad or completely upholstered "lining", a 4 star base with glides and a five star with castors delivering extra mobility. The aluminum frame is available finished in a white powder coated painted or a polished aluminum finish.
Unlike any other shell chair Re-pend features unique ergonomics with its "swinging" movement produced by integrated vulcanised rubber cushioning. The position of the axis of motion allows natural and balanced movement. Natural forward movement by the user (pushing the pelvis forward and straitening the upper body) tilts the chair forwards by up to 12°, the neutral sitting position and the users natural movements allows gentle rocking stimulating circulation and rearward movement allows the chair to tilt backwards increasing the flow of breathing.
