The brief for the first floor was to create an area which showcased the vast range of salon furniture and provide enough flexibility to be able to change the space completely for product launches and seasonal promotions.
The flooring design had to be cost effect due to the sizable spend on the project as a whole, but still give the client the impact they needed. To give the client flexibility for colour choices and trends, the flooring needed to be neutral without compromising on the look. Designers CBS Office Interiors proposed the herringbone design to give it the ‘wow factor’ as soon as you walk into the space, while also giving the client a blank canvas to work with.
❝ With an exposed ceiling and painted brick walls, we wanted a carpet tile that would fit the industrial feel, with texture and an organic pattern to bring the scheme together. Rapid Select allowed us to provide a cost-effective solution, without compromise on the design, texture or impact. ❞
