The specialist work on Southbury Court , located in North West London, was carried out by Daystone Services from Chingford with Vican Consultants being the consultant engineer on the contract.

The project involved the replacement of three outdated steel boilers and forced draft burners with a pair of Stokvis Energy Systems Econoflame R2708 boilers along with two E4A19 Econoplate plate heat exchangers to meet the 35 flats’ heating and hot water demands. Stokvis also supplied one of its Econopress units to ensure adequate pressures were maintained throughout the 10-storey building.

A Director of Daystone Services, Bill Welling, comments: “While in this instance the Stokvis plant was specified by Vic Reed the Consultant, who like ourselves, regularly use the manufacturer’s equipment on a lot of contracts because of the performance and reliability. The plate heat exchangers in particular work very well.

“The installation at Southbury Court went very smoothly and the Managing Agent as well as the Tenants are pleased with the results.”
