Design process
Designers Kommerkors and Esquisse, with their extensive experience in developing the previous Lynx models, have reached a new milestone with the design of the Lynx X1 chair. They have used their extensive expertise to perfect both the frame and the design of the Lynx X1 in every detail. "It is immediately noticeable in Lynx X1’s optimised frame construction, stacking and linking features and contemporary design. The smooth transition from clean lines to round shapes reflects the current design trend. We have consistently applied these stylistic elements in all key components of the Lynx X1 chair."
Linking and stacking
The integrated linking system in the frame makes it possible to effortlessly create sturdy row connections without tools. For stable linking, Lynx X1 only needs to be lifted a few centimetres and placed in the frame of the chair next to it. For optimum flexibility, Lynx X1 can be linked as chair-chair, chair-armchair and armchair-armchair. Lynx X1 is freely stackable up to 12 chairs. A transport dolly is available for 12 and 24 chairs. When stacking, the seats of Lynx X1 do not touch each other, preventing damage to the upholstery and foam.
Materials and options
The Lynx X1’s plastic shell is available in eight modern colours. For extra seating comfort, you can choose upholstery or a fully upholstered version. There is a choice of fabrics from Casala and other manufacturers. Lynx X1's frame is finished in chrome as standard. Lynx X1 can be fitted with various options, such as a row spacer, writing tablet and hymnbook holder. With the addition of Zifra, the battery-free digital numbering system, Lynx X1 grows into the ultimate hall chair.
Sustainable materials
The Lynx X1 chassis consists of as much as 80% recycled steel. Lynx X1's materials are sustainably produced. The entire production process takes place in the Netherlands, minimising the ecological footprint. After its useful life, Lynx X1 can be almost completely recycled.
