Granite, Breccia, Arable and Flores each capture an abstract design that hints at the planet’s most beguiling landscapes. The overall collection was born from a preoccupation with the earth’s attributes while acknowledging that this stunning natural beauty must be protected – a cause to which Tarkett is fiercely dedicated through its world-class sustainability credentials.
Take the world inside
Step onto solid rocks with the Breccia collection, get lost in a field of flowers with Flores, marvel at a mountain with Granite and admire the linear precision of aerial fields with Arable. Each range has a distinct identity, yet unmistakably draws inspiration from the natural world.
Granite
Invite the thrill of the untamed landscape into the office with the Granite collection. The raw, unpredictable texture of volcanic earth drives the 18 colourways that mark these carpet tiles, resembling a terrain of brave, unplanned nature. A muted, earthy palette meets rich, spiced tones, with the resulting three-dimensional appearance giving the carpet tiles a wild streak. Combine fiery reds and subtle greys, soft yellows and fierce orange for vibrant and dynamic interior design.
Breccia
Combining the strength and durability of real marble with the patterns of sea-weathered rocks, the Breccia carpet tile makes for a fresh, revitalising addition to any interior space. The subtle veining found in minerals and marbles are reflected in an energising colour palette of seven shades, from blue-grey to green and metallic yarn, evoking the sense of fresh salty air and a crisp sea breeze. The juxtaposition between polished stone and rugged, raw surfaces can be found in the carpet tile’s pattern, capturing nature’s rough, entrancing elements.
Arable
Taking sun scorched fields and agricultural landscapes as its inspiration, the Arable carpet tile mirrors the effects of nature meeting human intervention. Steeped in history, the land tells a different story depending on the vantage point. And so too does Arable.
A colour palette of 10 warm and cold tones reflect the clays, greys, blues and beiges of the past and present. The range’s dual-toned appearance evokes a sense of wide-open space to reveal a rich, textural pattern that allows designers to take elements of the great outdoors in.
Flores
The Flores carpet tile collection finds its origins in the botanical world. Six tones capture the rich diversity of the planet’s flora, ranging from subtle, muted shades to expressive brights, injecting energy into indoor spaces. The three-dimensional design is reminiscent of Impressionist paintings, transforming the joys of spring into a carefully crafted palette of vibrant colours.
Anette Timmer, EMEA Marketing Director Workplace at Tarkett, comments: “Elevating the details uncovered in materials viewed both close-up and from an aerial eye – from raw rock and stone through to opulent, smooth marble – we’ve captured the planet’s alluring and fragile qualities. The resulting flooring collection boasts abstract designs grounded in reality resulting in the perfect addition to workplace interiors.”
