Rich Kelsall, Head of Commercial Sales at Johnson Tiles said;
"The BCFA OPEN event has been great for us and what we’ve found works best for us, is events that are more focused."
Throughout the 2 days the BCFA offered engaging and industry specific discussions and CPD in the BCFA Inspire Hub, leading on from the successful event in London. Some of the highlights included the ‘Built to Last?‘ panel discussion which debated over the importance of making products with longevity and the ‘Powering the North’ discussion, which drew in quite an audience with a panel of Theresa Dowling (FX Magazine), Gavin Phillips (Gresham Furniture), Julian Pearson (Roman Limited) and Tony Attard (Panaz).
Gavin King, Director of SpaceInvader Design commented;
"Today’s event is really important, and I think it should be the first of many!"
Both visitors and members thought the venue was wonderfully central and easy to get to. They felt that the interesting topics covered over the two days brought in valuable guests and companies.
Alan Towns, Managing Director of Knightbridge Furniture said;
"We always love to support the BCFA, and this event was a great opportunity for meeting new people"
Overall, the BCFA had a wonderful first event and the feedback has been brilliant for their opening exhibition and they would like to thank all their members for their support and the fantastic feedback they have received.
