Drawing on the classic, timeless design that has characterised the Wandsworth range for over a century, the new bespoke, made to order collection is based on the company’s Classic sockets and switches, using the same interiors with a ground-breaking circular plate. The innovation marks the first time that circular sockets and switches have been available in a collection of finishes from any supplier in the UK. Guaranteed to make a design statement, the new collection is available in any of the Wandsworth Classic finishes, including polished brass, super mirror stainless steel, antique bronze, satin silver and satin stainless steel.
Explains managing director of The Wandsworth Group, Adam Sherry: "We have produced circular plates before as specials and they make a real impact. We wanted to make that eye-catching design statement available as standard so we’ve launched this collection with all the ease of installation and build quality of our Classic collection with the added wow factor of a product that breaks free of wiring accessory design conventions."
Installed in exactly the same way as the Wandsworth Classic collection, with a grid-mounted interior and a plate that fits flush to the wall, the collection offers simple fitting and retro-fitting. The striking plates are available as a standard collection of single sockets and switches, including, data, telephone, TV aerial and HDMI sockets, along with double switches. Double sockets and socket combinations can also be provided on request by combining two units in a figure of eight format and a wide range of special finishes are also available.
