The Charles Eames directors chairs and Charles Eames boardroom chairs shown here have the classic polished aluminium frame with a 5 star base and castors. Each of these office chairs includes a gas lift seat height adjuster and a tilting mechanism. The 5 star base can also be selected in chrome for an additional £100 + VAT per chair.

Charles Eames Aluminium group chairs and Charles Eames Soft Pad group chairs are also highly successful boardroom chairs and conference room chairs. The medium back visitors chairs can be specified with a gas lift only, with a fixed height 5 star base and glides or a fixed height swivelling 5 star base and glides.
The Charles Eames visitors chairs are also available without the swivel mechanism at the same price. The Charles Eames visitors and meeting room chairs are also available without arms for a reduction of £77 + VAT per chair

30 Year Written Guarantee on Eames Chairs
The Aluminium Chair by Charles and Ray Eames is one of the greatest furniture designs of the 20th century. Vitra has produced the Aluminium Chair programme and the models of the Soft Pad Group, based on the same construction principle, for many decades to a consistently high quality. On the basis of this experience we are now granting a 30-year guarantee on all chairs of the Aluminium Group and the Soft Pad Group that were purchased after September 2003, provided the purchaser has registered their purchase on line with the manufacturer. Details can be provided upon request.
The guarantee is that if any Aluminium Group or Soft Pad Group chair purchased by you develops a manufacturing or materials fault within 30 years from the date you purchased it, Vitra will repair or replace it free of charge. Note that surface marking, weathering and normal wear and tear is not covered by the guarantee, nor is damage caused by deliberate attack or misuse. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights. The Vitra symbol gives you the security of owning an authorised original product by Charles and Ray Eames.
