The sofa has been designed for a luggage and backpack manufacturing company Eastpak.
Taking inspiration from a regular backpack, the sofa will feature zips and handles and would also be upholstered in heavy fabric like that of a regular sofa set. It would be available in colorful strong fabrics and popular prints to suit any modern set up.
The pockets featured in the sofa may be used as a storage space for books, magazines, reading glasses, laptop, iPod, headset, remote control and others that are commonly used in the drawing rooms.
The sofa would be presented at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, during Milan Design Week from April 13-18, 2010.
