The $85 million School of Nursing and Science/Math Complex by California-based construction firm Barnhart, a subsidiary of Heery International, will feature a 37,000-square feet, two-story Nursing building and an 88,000 square feet, four-story Science/Math building. These buildings will house 26 classrooms, 12 lecture halls, 12 laboratories, two teleconference rooms, a cyber cafe, a healing garden and faculty and administrative offices.

Designed by gkkworks of California, the buildings complement the campus’ mission-style architecture with arched walkways, an outdoor amphitheater and courtyard leading to the healing garden.

The complex is designed to achieve US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
