The refurbishment of Huddersfield Railway Station included full mechanical and electrical refurbishment of the facility along with new lighting, heating, cooling and ventilation systems, new power and CCTV services.
The facility is situated in a Grade I listed building that posed SDH Building Services with special constraints in their designs and eight-week installation. The project was undertaken on behalf of First Transpennine Express, which manages Huddersfield Railway Station.
The project follows a recent contract to refurbish the heating, plumbing, electrical and fire alarm systems at Hull Paragon Railway Station in the centre of Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire.
