Boasting a portfolio of 171 guestrooms, the DoubleTree by Hilton New Bern Riverfront is situated in Downtown Historic District, in close proximity to several tourist attractions and shopping destination. The project has given a new look to both the interior and exterior spaces of the former Hilton hotel (which has been re-branded as DoubleTree).
Scope of work involved remodelling of the guestrooms, suites, a fitness room, dining outlets, landscaping and public spaces. The renovation was planned to add a contemporary touch to the hotel. The guestrooms’ design are reflection of historical, grand Southern-style Inns.
Laden with several in-room amenities, such as complimentary wireless, high-speed internet access; spacious work desks with ergonomic chairs; 37-inch, high-definition, LCD TV; the guestrooms have been designed to render ultimate comfort to today’s travellers.
The suite have separate sitting areas and bedrooms, feature a sofa bed and 42-inch high-definition, LCD TV in the sitting area and a 32-inch high-definition, LCD TVs in the bedrooms. The food and dining options include Christoph’s on the Water and a lounge bar.
The hotel’s 14,000 square feet of flexible conference area includes a 4,160 square feet ballroom that in reception style arrangement can accommodate maximum of 350 guests. The other amenities at the hotel include a round the clock, self service business centre and an advanced fitness centre.
