The complex features 56 private apartments, 53 affordable homes, 400,000 square feet of office space and a public piazza with a restaurant and other retail units. The residential tower was acquired and completed by United House Developments.
The construction of the complex was done with an eye out for sustainability. The structures are distinguished by their use of FSC-accredited timber and a boldly coloured glazed ceramic façade. The interiors of all 56 apartments feature extensive use of DuPont Corian hi-tech surfaces. The sleek, hygienic and durable surface features in all the bathrooms and kitchens of private apartments, most of which are pre-sold off plan.
The bathrooms, in particular, are entirely clad in Corian that has been used to create the shower trays, bath surrounds and vanity tops. The kitchen units have been obtained from Assells with taps by Abode, sinks by Blanco and appliances by Siemens, AEG and Gaggenau. The fabrication of over 500 sheets of DuPont Corian in the 6mm thickness and 200 sheets in the 12mm thickness for the apartment interiors was undertaken by Clarendon.
The reception area of the development also features a monolithic style reception desk formed from Corian that was fabricated by Rosskopf.
