The new housing is targeted at people earning below 80% of the community’s median income of $75,500. It houses a total of 15 apartments. The housing’s nine apartments consist of three bedrooms whereas the rest of the six units comprise one bedroom.

A pair of units of the property will be designed to serve hearing-impaired persons. In addition, another two units will be built to Americans with Disabilities Act specifications.

The project has been primarily financed through a $1.86 million grant from New York State Homes and Community Renewal. The remaining project money was taken out as a mortgage through Adirondack Trust Co.
