The extensive facelift project started in mid 2008, imparted a refreshed look to Aberdeen’s main shopping destination with impressive lightboxes, a curved timber ceiling, modern flooring and new entrance doors.
With the new architectural design by PMP Architecture, the center looks more spacious and it appears to be a large open space.
A new signage displaying the new branding for the Bon Accord and St Nicholas Centre has also been placed at The St Nicholas Square and Schoolhill entrances as part of the redevelopment.
This is the first time St Nicholas Centre had undergone any renovation after its opening in October 1985.
London based real estate investment trust Land Securities is the owner of the center.
