The $33 million renovation at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles is nearing completion. Along with modernizing the preexisting traditional-style interiors, SFA is incorporating elements of classic Four-Seasons flora invoking the rich history of Old Hollywood and Beverly Hills.

The 285 guestrooms and suites, guest corridors, elevator lobbies, Windows Bar & Lounge, bar patio, ballroom, pre-function space, Cabana Restaurant, pool and library have undergone extensive renovation. Culina, Modern Italian, the hotel’s new signature restaurant, will debut in early March 2010.

The newly-renovated 4,000 square feet ballroom is designed to reflect a return to California chic. The expansive arched windows are designed to offer ample natural light. The ballroom is now refreshed with creamy neutral tones which are balanced with delicate shears and a contemporary garden-inspired carpet design.

The renovated Windows Lounge incorporates elements of nature throughout using lavish hues of fresh spring greens and rich browns. New features include a backlit photographic glass bar top displaying an image of foliage. A green onyx fireplace is placed at the center of the lounge and wooden wine cabinets. The patio has been expanded and features additional seating for up to 25 persons with two additional wrought iron cabanas.

The Cabana Restaurant and upper pool terrace located at the fourth floor features a new awning. This awning fitted with discreet heaters covers the seating. New lighting and outdoor sound system has been added to the space.

The renovated guest rooms features mirrored wall paneling and white-gold contemporized chinoiserie headboards. The rooms are adorned with warm tans and fair woods palettes. The tan carpet pays tribute to Four Seasons’ long standing tradition of incorporating the softest elements of nature, with slightly abstracted aqua pattern of spherical flora.

The rooms feature leaf-patterned throws, and a matching throw pillow. An upholstered, tan armchair with stitched in aqua details is featured in the guest rooms. Improved bathrooms features glass closures for the shower/bath tub area, new flat screen TVs, and new contemporary fixtures.
