The lobby area of the 370-room facility will undergo an overhaul as part of the project. The revamped lobby will be equipped with new seating facilities, décor, lighting fixtures, interactive check-in pods, and modern-styled furnishings.
The guest rooms of the building will also be remodelled. The new guest rooms will sport rich, warm tones complemented by chrome-finished hardware. The upgraded rooms will feature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Beds in white shades, flat-screen TVs, and new heating and cooling systems which run low on energy consumption. All the rooms will also provide WiFi service following the facelift.
The hotel will imbibe a refurbished Club Lounge post makeover which will allow access to its Club Floor guests and Starwood Platinum members. In addition, it will incorporate the new 20,000 square feet Sheraton Fitness programmed by Core Performance fitness centre. The centre will comprise racquetball courts and various spa services, along with indoor and outdoor pools.
The project is expected to be completed by April 2012.
