The project, designed by Palm Desert’s Pearson Architects, will be executed in different phases. Refurbishments include fitting of new mattresses, bedding, bed scarves, carpeting and neck rolls in all the guest rooms of the facility. The guest rooms will also feature bedside tables with granite tops, black-out drapery, chairs, ottomans, upgraded headboards, reupholstered benches as well as refinished credenzas post renovation work. In addition, all the revamped guest rooms will be equipped with 42” flat-screen televisions along with a clock radio comprising an iPhone/iPod port.
Work will also include incorporating new carpeting, drapery, wall covering, sconces, and furniture in the corridors of the facility. Further, the building will be made up in natural and earthy tones to match up with the surrounding landscape.
The project will commence on 5 July 2011 and be completed by end of October 2011.
