The 3,500-seat stadium is located on Owings Mills Boulevard on the site of the former Baltimore Ravens football team training camp. It will comprise a student fitness centre and a glass enclosed press box. It will also feature a field turf playing surface, locker rooms for teams and an enclosed “club” level seating area.

The stadium is intended to be multi-purpose and will host other athletic competitions. These include men’s and women’s soccer, women’s field hockey and men’s and women’s lacrosse.

The university will solicit support from donors to help meet the costs of the stadium after it failed to get state help. The stadium will be ready for the first football game on 10 September 2011 for the Mustangs’ first home game of the season.
