Colorado-based hotel development and hotel management company Stonebridge Companies has completely rebuilt the eight-story former Cherry Creek Inn for the newly flagged Hilton Garden Inn Denver/Cherry Creek. The finished product opened new doors for business on December 31, 2009.
The new Hilton Garden Inn Denver/Cherry Creek offers amenities for the full spectrum of travelers. It has 210 guest rooms, 4,200 square feet of meeting space, a full service restaurant, and 11,000 square feet of retail space. The rooms feature HD flat screen televisions, complimentary in-room coffee and tea, microwaves and refrigerators, and the Hilton Garden Sleep system. In addition to the new hotel rooms, there is an indoor pool, hot tub and state-of-the-art exercise facility.
The property is within easy walking distance to the upscale Cherry Creek Mall and the diverse attractions of the Cherry Creek area in general. Also close by is the still-developing Infinity Park, with its impressive rugby stadium and events center.
The hotel features complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access, secure guest remote printing, Herman Miller Mirra chairs and a 24 hour complimentary business center. The glass storefronts for the restaurants and the retail center all face Colorado Boulevard, and include three well-recognized eateries that will open mid-February and March, 2010 in the retail space on the ground floor. Cafe Rio will open its first Colorado location. Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill, Panera Bread, and the Great American Grill are the other restaurant offerings.
Stonebridge develops and operates some 6,000 hotel rooms in properties scattered across the country and with brands easily recognized by travelers such as Sheraton, Marriott, Embassy Suites and Hampton Inn, among others. The Cherry Creek Hotel was purchased from Starwood Hotels & Resorts about two years ago.
