The building with a four-storey core and a shell of 115,000 gross square feet, will accommodate a below grade level space for the hospital’s prospective radiation / oncology imaging services. The space will also house two linear accelerator vaults.

Designed by Virginia’s Architecture Incorporated, the new building will be developed in strict compliance with environmental principles and will be pursue LEED Silver certification. Construction of the new INOVA Fair Oaks Medical Office Building IV will be based on the Building Information Modeling technology.

Additional work as a part of the contract includes construction of a new entrance on Rugby Road and additional surface parking garage. The company will also clear the site for the new construction and install site lighting and traffic signals. Further, Suffolk will undertake work related to site upgrades surrounding the new development.
