The renovation project aimed to offer improved working conditions for the staff and a higher standard of care to the patients.

The nursing station has received $425,000 worth improvements. The space has been expanded by about 50 square feet, providing more space for staff, computers, a resource room and a staff washroom.

The $426,000 negative pressure room has been designed to ensure infection control. These rooms feature a unique ventilation system in which air is pulled through the room to the outside, ensuring that contaminated air do not escape to other parts of the facility. This aids in preventing the spread of infectious diseases within the health care setting. The exterior of the hospital has also undergone makeover featuring new siding and paint.
