The 1985-built facility houses a total of 308 units. A 510-unit complex will take the place of the existing complex which will now be rebranded as Pacific Bay Vistas. The refurbished complex will comprise 14 complexes encompassing three floors each, a new recreation centre, and clubhouse. Plans are also on for rehabilitation of the current units, along with creation of a new leasing office. There will be 84 small one-bedroom/one-bathroom units, 98 spacious one-bedroom/one-bath units, 84 two-bedroom/one-bath units, along with 42 two-bedroom/two-bath apartments in the renovated facility.
Both the interior and the exterior portion of the units will undergo a complete overhaul as part of the project. The units will substitute their wallboards, ceiling and floor coverings following the makeover. The upgraded units will also be equipped with new cabinets, appliances, plumbing fixtures, as well as electric systems. In addition, the project will include roof repair, siding replacement, and employment of new waterproofing techniques.
The project is due for completion in the third quarter of 2013.
