The Priory Project designed by Upper South Studio artist and designer Laurence Rosen introduces a unique and patented technique of applying colour to silk. The designs available in the collection has incorporated archival pencil drawings, and delicate nuanced tones of saturated colour as opposed to a mechanical uniform look. The range features images from 17th century ecclesiastical vestment diagrams, imbibing an old yet elegant look.

The Pelican Hill collection comprises creations made of contemporary cottons created by Rosen jointly with the offices of Darrell Schmitt in Los Angeles for The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach. The textile collection incorporates successive layers of thin transparencies of colour for creating a rich and complex surface which is delicate, rustic as well as matches with the architecture of the site.

Both the collections will be available in New York, Chicago, Washington D.C. and San Francisco through Holland & Sherry.
