Portland-based designer Siri Evju developed the award winning kitchen for Larry and Deborah Lindland, owners of the kitchen. The kitchen is simple and functional featuring clean lines.
Elements like the kitchen backsplash, which features horizontal planks of teak, were added to the kitchen. Evju combined the Golden teak cabinets and contemporary Asian designs of the kitchen with the antiques and artwork displayed in the family room.
A six-burner gas stove with double ovens was added to the kitchen owing to its spaciousness. Wine cooler and refrigerator was integrated around the U-shaped kitchen to avoid clutter.
A small refrigerator was selected and refrigerated drawers added to the island to maintain balance and spaciousness in the kitchen. It also added storage space.
A stainless steel hood occupies the area above the cook top. Surrounded by a black backsplash with a copper inlay running diagonally through the center, the hood completes the kitchen design.
Larry and Deborah Lindland live in Camas a city in Washington, US.
