The facility covers an area of 28,000 square feet. It is equipped with an in-house CT scanner, a Tesla magnet MRI machine as well as a radioactive iodine unit for providing treatment to hyperthyroid cats.
Other features of the building include two radiology suites and an intensive care unit spanning 150 square feet.
There is also a rehabilitation section fitted with a dry treadmill and an underwater treadmill for facilitating post-operative orthopedic and neurological problems. Further, the hospital comprises the Antech diagnostic lab which encompasses an area of 800 square feet. The lab will reduce treatment time by conducting work on the site unlike earlier times when results were transported to VCA lab in Natick.
