The table features still lines that follow a linear track, but bend at places in a hegemonic oscillation. The use of wood has been done in an almost zigzag pattern. The table features a low-rise, but is broader width-wise. For the top of the table, the designer has made use of glass, which is plain and simple, contrasting the many lines of its lower half. The Geo cocktail table embodies the defined organic lines of the grain of wood, which the designer stated was of extreme importance to him.
The inspiration of the Geo cocktail table has been taken from string art. The arrangement of lines between points has been done to create a geometrical pattern. A 3-D version of this design adds depth. This table is made of either pine or mahogany wood that has been taken from sustainably harvested forests. Aside from this, the ‘wooden rods’ that are used as ‘string’ in this table is made from recycled or unwanted wooden parts of legs and arms of chairs. The left over wastes during the design of this table were recycled by processing it through a dowelling machine, the designer stated.
