Whirlpool’s new ADP7955 SL/WH freestanding 6th Sense AquaSteam PowerClean Max dishwasher has been praised by Which? judges for its excellent dishwashing and drying characteristics. It has received the highest score of five points for cleaning and drying, and achieved an overall score of 73%. It is also amongst the top of the 166 dishwashers that were tested.

According to Which? the dishwasher is easy to use and features options for cutlery loading. It comes with a cutlery drawer for laying items flat, as well as a basket that can be split into two halves. Loading is claimed to be easy, as is changing the height of the upper rack, with the control panel displaying the programme time remaining.

The ADP7955 also received five stars for the electricity use in its energy-save programme, and four stars for overall ease of use, reliability and water use in the main and energy-save programmes.

This Whirlpool dishwasher also offers ample of other specialist wash programmes: a pre-wash programme, one for glasses; and a quick-wash option, when the user is in a hurry. The extra rear spray arm can be used, when the intensive programme is selected, and different zones within the dishwasher can be set to wash in different ways. A 24-hour delay-timer allows the user to programme it to do the dishes while he sleeps.

The Eco 50°C programme is designed to save around two and a half litres per wash. It takes half an hour less than the main programme and cuts energy use by 70%.

Whirlpool’s brand marketing manager Juliana Sado stated that the new ADP7955 dishwasher is part of Whirlpool’s Green Generation range that combines performance with resource savings.
