Netherlands-based Azure Naval Architects, which designs, engineers, and provides construction supervision and support for luxury superyachts, along with shipyard’s in-house team, have developed the hull. It is designed for private ownership and can be used as a luxury charter yacht.
The exterior of the Y708 superyacht has been done by Russian designer Igor Lobanov. The design is based on three elements: Motion, elegance and privacy. Motion is achieved by creating a feeling of layers through the introduction of graphical configuration and sculptural movement of the surfaces. The exterior styling of Y708 yachts superstructure is light and elegant.
It can accommodate up to 14 people and offers seven cabins; including a master suite as well as six guests cabins, consisting of two VIP cabins with their own balconies and four double cabins. The Y708 luxury yacht’s private owner’s suite comprises a lounge with a balcony, a master bedroom with private exterior deck area, and access to sun deck sunbathing area and a whirlpool. Private or charter yacht guests are further accommodated in two double VIP suites, three double guest cabins and one twin guest cabin.
Oceanco Y708 has a beam of 14.20 metre and can cruise at a speed of up to 20 knots. The Oceanco superyacht Y708 is powered by two 4,830hp/3,600kW MTU 20V 4000 M73L engines. The superyacht arrived at the yard in mid-February 2011. It is due to be delivered before the end of 2012.
